If you need to eat a gluten free diet due to gluten intolerance or celiac disease, you may be interested in some gluten free bread machine recipes or gluten free bread mixes. You can buy gluten free breads at some specialty bakeries, but it’s hard to find them in just any ordinary grocery store. You can make your own gluten free bread by hand, but that’s a lot of work. Gluten free bread machine recipes are easier, and gluten free bread mixes that you just dump in the bread machine with some water are even easier than that.
Gluten-Free Bread Machine Recipes
Basic Gluten Free Bread
This recipe is a good basic gluten free bread. Use it for toast, sandwiches, or serve it alongside entrées.
Whisk together eggs and water. Pour into bread machine. Add vinegar, vegetable oil, dry milk powder, and honey.
In a mixing bowl, combine flours, sugar, xanthan gum, and salt. Pour into bread machine. Sprinkle yeast on top.
Set bread machine on basic setting for 1 ½ pound loaf.
Cinnamon Raisin Bread
This is one of our favorite gluten free bread machine recipes. It makes an excellent breakfast bread or you can serve it as a snack with coffee.
Whisk together eggs and apple cider. Pour into bread machine. Add melted butter and vinegar.
In a mixing bowl, combine flours, brown sugar, xanthan gum, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt. Pour into bread machine. Sprinkle yeast on top.
Set bread machine on basic setting for 1 ½ pound loaf. After first kneading, add chopped apple and raisins.
Potato Bread
This is another of our favorite gluten free bread machine recipes. It makes a great sandwich bread.
Peel potato and boil until soft. Then mash.
Whisk together eggs and water. Pour into bread machine. Add melted butter, sugar, mashed potato, and vinegar.
In a mixing bowl, combine flours, xanthan gum, gelatin, and salt. Pour into bread machine. Sprinkle yeast on top.
Set bread machine on basic setting for 2 pound loaf.

You can look for these and other gluten free bread mixes at your favorite grocery store, but you may need to visit a health food store to find some of them. You can also order them online. Make sure you read the labels carefully because some of these companies offer both gluten free products and products containing gluten. Make sure you’re buying the right one.
